The holiday season is quickly approaching. Something about the chill in the air, the shorter days, and the endless festivities help remind us all how to live with love, harmony, and peace. As you prepare to celebrate with your loved ones, we would like to share and reflect on the quote by Nobel Peace Prize laureate, Elie Weisel:
“Mankind must remember that peace is not God’s gift to his creatures, it is our gift to each other.”
We have an opportunity to act now and celebrate peace together. Here at the RAGFP, we want to make it easy for you to give the gift of Peace this holiday season and on #GivingTuesday
1. RAGFP Facebook Donation Matching Fundraiser
Donate the gift of Peace in your name, or in the name of your loved ones, to the RAGFP. This year, every donation to the RAGFP will be matched up to $50,000 from the Jubitz Family Foundation until January 1, 2020. Imagine, a donation of $50 instantly becomes $100. Your $250 gift becomes $500. We are honoring the names of our holiday donors by adding them to our list of “2020 Alliance of Peacebuilders” which will be featured on our website at the start of the new year. Help us engage, educate, and empower peace around the world by sending a gift to the Rotarian Action Group for Peace.
2. RAGFP AmazonSmile
From organizing dinners, shopping for gifts, hanging decorations, and traveling, the Holiday season can be a great opportunity to connect with your community and loved-ones to spread peace.
What if we told you that donating for PEACE this holiday season could be easy? With the Rotarian Action Group for Peace’s AmazonSmile account, you can shop for all of your holiday essentials and gifts while donating funds to peace engagement, education, and empowerment initiatives around the globe. Every purchase you make through Amazon smile, 0.5% of the proceeds go to the RAGFP. It’s a win-win, saving you time, giving you peace of mind, and spreading Peace on Earth this holiday season.
Make sure to use our RAGFP AmazonSmile link to donate to the RAGFP.
