Kaan Soyak is a highly experienced businessman with specific education and extensive training in political science, international relations, international law and public service. He has done a significant amount of work with Turkey’s government-owned Pipeline Transportation Company, where he helped facilitate an affordable and cost effective way of energy transportation along with energy security.
Kaan has been the board member and Co-Chair of the International Service Division of the Rotary Club of New York (Host club of America and the United Nations) and one of the founding members of the first Rotaract Club in Turkey in 1982. And was the Co-Founder and Co-Chairman of the Turkish-Armenian Business Development Council (TABDC) in 1997 and Co-Chairman and Co-Founder of the US-Turkish-Armenian Business Council and the Turkish-Armenian Business Council in European
Union in Brussels.
In addition, Kaan Co-Organized the first international regional Rotary Peace Conference in Ankara in 2005 where more than 400 Rotarians came together from Turkey, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia and USA.
His current efforts are focused on religious minorities and inter-faith relations among different religious and institutions and promoting US-Turkish-Kurdish economic relations and facilitating relations between Armenia and Turkey. Kaan is also involved in numerous NGO activities including The World Water Organization and the World Energy Forum (in partnership with the United Nations and the World Bank), along with International Fraternity organizations.
