RI Convention Fellowship leads to Rotary Moment Story

During a Rotary Friendship Exchange in Southern India, several years ago, I experienced “My Rotary Moment.” We were travelling between Coimbatore and Tirupur when we stopped at the Sankara Eye Bank. We toured the hospital and visited the local Rotary project. Cataract surgery was being performed by 10 doctors in a large operating room with 10 patients lined up on operating tables all having their surgeries.

Art Competition Asks Children to Imagine World Peace

Rotary Peace Art Competition for Children 2018 is an international art competition for children between the ages 3-years and 14-years old. It is organized by the Rotary Club of Dhaka in association with Bangladesh Marketers Alliance. It is supported by Rotarian Action Group For Peace and Rotary International. New Peace Art submissions are being accepted until June 20, 2018, in four separate age categories. Children may join the Rotary Club of Dhaka Peace Art Competition 2018 Facebook group and post their Peace Art here. Express your vision of world peace in art.
