On Wed., April 7th, Rotary Int’l. (RI) Director Peter Kyle will announce the largest local peacebuilding initiative in RI history.

With a commitment of $500,000 from Rotary Zones 33 & 34, Youth & Peace in Action: Engaging Young Community Peacebuilders (YPA) will make peace education, training and mentoring available to high school students, teachers and youth service club members in the 2021-22 academic year.

The initial focus is on serving communities in YPA participating Districts within Rotary Zones 33 & 34, an area that spans nine states in the US, Washington, DC, the Caribbean, and parts of South America.
