On Sunday 29 January 2017, at 7pm, the UN Chamber Music Society of the United Nations Staff Recreation Council will perform a benefit concert, in collaboration with the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR).
At the concert, a Message of the UN Secretary-General, H.E. Mr. António Guterres, will be delivered by Ms. Cristina Gallach, UN Under-Secretary-General for Communications and Public Information. In addition, Ms. Ninette Kelley, Director of The UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR), New York Office, will deliver remarks. This concert will be dedicated to refugees, and all proceeds will be directed to the UNHCR.
The Society is most pleased to invite you to attend this special event, which marks its commitment to promote the goals and values of the United Nations through the universal language of music, and chamber music in particular. The Society has already performed on several occasions and for humanitarian purposes. Please find below the details. Kindly share the word among your family and friends.
