Dear Fellow Rotarians,
“Let’s take Good News Agency to the schools!” This campaign has produced remarkable results. Many Rotary clubs in Italy introduced this newsletter personally to interested teachers of over 400 high schools and colleges. Furthermore, in synergy with Good News Agency, several Clubs have successfully conducted 14 scholastic contests in the country with the participation of over 120 schools and many hundreds classes in 7 cities and 5 regions. The themes, proposed by Good News Agency, are related to the UN Millennium Development Goals. All contests are listed at www.goodnewsagency.org/en/contests
Internationally, the reaction from several District Governors who spread this newsletter through their line of communication, continues to be very promising. We trust the positive reaction by DGs in various parts of the world will encourage the Clubs to reach the youth with this constructive newsletter as a meaningful opportunity of service.
In Rotary friendship,
Sergio Tripi, President of the Committees for Good News Agency of District 2080 and of R. C. Roma Eur – Italy
