Rotarian Action Group for Peace Members:
As we approach the end of our first year in November, the Rotarian Action Group for Peace is making good progress on many fronts.
Importantly, many Rotarians and Rotaractors who share our passion for peace are joining Rotarian Action Group for Peace. If you know someone who might be interested, please share this newsletter. Joining is quick and easy on our website!
Equally important is that some members have volunteered to do the kinds of work we need to be a well-organized group. We still have leadership positions open – see our September newsletter for all the details and how to apply.
In the next few months, we plan to launch a map which shows where Rotarian Action Group for Peace members live. Please fill out your member profile on our website so we can include you. If you cannot remember your password, you can request a new one at any time.
Please continue to post your peace-related activities on our website! You are doing your fellow members and the Rotarian Action Group for Peace a great service.
Also be sure to follow us on Facebook (click “Like”) and keep up to date with the interesting posts from members.
Remember International Day of Peace is Saturday, September 21. A number of our members have activities planned. I am personally involved with Peace Week at Norwalk Community College, and a Peace Crane Project in Westport, Connecticut, USA.
Thank you for advancing world understanding, fellowship and peace.
Peace.
